I know some people aren't sensitive to this, or may not even notice this – and that's totally fine!
But some of us do, and it does matter.
Here's 2 frames taken from some 60fps phone footage of Metroid Dread running at 60FPS on both the Switch1 OLED vs the Switch2. Samus is in a falling animation in her morph ball, identical situations in both instances.
Take note of how much ghosting/smearing is occuring, how long the trail is, and how bright/intense it is. This is the blur people are talking about. And it's much more pronounced and obvious when moving 3D camera (entire screen movement) and even more obvious in FPS.
I also have a bunch of side by side videos comparing different games so you can take a look for yourself.
If you haven't bought a Switch 2 yet, and you care about this sort of thing and were worried about the LCD screen – take a look and make up your own mind.
/u/ctyldsley you aren't alone in seeing this.
