Fighting is much worse than Steel for me investment-wise lol. I did get a new unit for it just last month but I await the month when it gets a massive boost like Steel did in 5th anni.
0:10 – Tech + Support vs. Penny Battle Challenge: EX-R Marnie / EX-R Trevor / EX-R Tierno
This stage was meant for TKTK. Got the Area 1 pattern with a bunch of possibilities, and somehow ended up with the most boring outcome for it lmao
2:41 – Kanto Upgrade purchase
Not as fun as Champion Upgrade last week but it’s at least a lot better than Fighting.
2:55 – Support + Field vs. Kukui Battle Challenge: EX-R Variety Thorton / EX-R Gym Grusha / EX-R Ortega
Gave Gym Grusha cake for a Gauntlet duo, but getting another Support + Field unit is really nice for rotational patterns like this.
6:46 – Field + Sprint vs. Grass-weak Lorelei: EX-R Arc Alder / EX-R Anni 2024 Lillie / EX-R Mix Lucas
Arc Alder is kinda nuts huh
8:20 – Sprint + Strike vs. Ghost-weak Wikstrom: EX-R SS Bede / EX-R SS Nemona / EX-R SS Gladion
I don’t know why DeNA likes giving me rivals with the Strike + Sprint combo a lot but that’s really helpful for rotational patterns too
10:25 – Strike + Tech vs. Dark-weak Caitlin: EX-R SC Barry / EX-R SS N / EX-R Anni Lillie
Was worried about this stage since none of my Strike + Tech units give an upgrade bonus, but thankfully got an easy CS stage. SC Barry really likes that mega upgrade.
12:38 – Tech + Support vs. Ground-weak Bruno: EX-R NC Hop / EX-R SS Steven / EX-R Arven
I forgot that this stage had sun? So funny that a random Kanto CS stage has it.
15:11 – Crit Power Up purchase
I don’t purchase this much, but since I was rushing to get this done before Gauntlet started, I figured I’d indulge myself lol
15:25 – Support + Field vs. Ghost-weak Phoebe: EX-R SS Morty / EX-R Variety Marnie / EX-R Mix Blue
Sun besties. Gym Kabu technically completes this Support + FIeld trio but that means investing in Gym Kabu.
17:32 – Field + Sprint vs. Ghost-weak Agatha: EX-R Nemona / EX-R SS Iono / EX-R SS Blue
Electric Terrain besties. I’ve gotten so many Ghost-weak stages this rotation haha
19:19 – Sprint + Strike vs. Clair Battle Challenge: EX-R Arc Cynthia / EX-R Rei / EX-R NC Silver
This is for the 5th anniversary units, and I’m just glad Arc Cynthia gets a role bonus here because no way was I doing this without her.
21:17 – Strike + Tech vs. Masked Royal: EX-R SS Hau / EX-R Geeta / EX-R NC Blue
That Crit Power Up purchase really helped me out here – wouldn’t be able to damage rush this otherwise. 10/5 SS Hau of course contributed to that but making this battle as short as possible is really helpful for NC Blue, who’s Ice-weak.
