Only thing you should use it on is mythical Pokémon. Everything you most likely will never really have a chance to grind/get/raid after a better one.
Diancie is a good bet for the golden bottle cap, if you didn't get a good one. It's the only mythical with a mega form. One of my main targets in the game is to get all megas as a hundo.
A couple of days to pick your Pokemon? Um how about picking it now and you don’t have to stress

I will put it on my Diancie. I have a 89% but I collect Mega hundos. It does have 15 Attack put I don't mind. I just "have to" do this.

Everyone’s saying “bottle cap 20$” but it’s really not the case. Sure the go pass is 20$ but you also get hella premium items that you’d prob spend more than 20$ on. Not defending the price (im prob not buying) but people need to take a min to look at the bigger picture
i would be torn between my safari ball shiny Galarian Moltres and shiny Zacian, but the shiny Zacian happens to be with Osaka background, so it tips the scales enough that it is easy choise between the two.
and i don't even feel bad if i ended up getting a Shundo or lucky shundo of Zacian during Go-fest.
Diancie is a good option on which to use this cap.

Now the game becomes what’s the best use for it; for a golden id only want to use it on a) a pokemon where the stats would matter b) a pokemon that needs training in all 3 stats or a lot in 2 stats c) something that’s either future proof or will at the very least always be a good option

I am thinking i dont actually need a shundo. Sure it nice to have but the feeling wears off fast. I will be fine and i wil still be getting top dps dealer in my raids. Im spending too much $ lately and honestly im not much better off than when i spent 10$/month
I’m thinking what I would like to put on Golden Bottle of three; Mega Diancie, it’ll get a signature rock move “Diamond Storm” essentially best damage overall rock attacker… Zarude, I could used as decent grass attacker and added on PvP team… Or Gengar as it has Mega and Giganticmax form can do both things as a ghost attacker. It’s all about using different utility.

They have to expire. They want you to use them on Pokémon that you’ve already grinded for rather than saving them for new pokemon. They still want people to spend a ton on battle passes for the newest raids rather than a mass of people catching just 1 and then bottle capping it.
