I tried the Mobapad M6 HD which was recommended by a lot of people. I like it. I finished my Okami HD, Ender Lilies and Nier: Automata playthrough with it. My main problem with the original Joycon is the thumbstick and rails getting loose, drifting, and ergonomic. The Mobapad fixes all that. However, I realized I don't like the feel of the Mobapad in the hand. I just cannot get used to it. I switched back to original Joycon.
After researching online, I replaced the original Joycon thumbstick with the Guilikit TMR replacement. I like how accurate it is but the rubber they use is just too slippery for my hands. Ended up buying Skull & Co thumstick cap. Then I saw their Neogrip. Knew instantly that I would want one. Got both.
Now this feels like the perfect handheld for me. The grip not only provide better ergonomics, it also fixes the feeling of wobbly Joycons. I would recommend. The grip fits in the dock. It also fits the official carrying case if you use the smallest grip that come with it.
