So I bought the Savage Raven (formerly Skull & Co) Split Case, which was advertised as being dockable. I had been looking around for reviews for good cases that were also dockable and couldn’t find a whole lot. I saw this case online and couldn’t find much as far as reviews, so I figured I’ll make my own. It was $16.99 from their website.
The case fit on very easily and all of the cut outs align well.
A big positive with the case is that it is EASILY dockable. It went on with zero friction or pressure having to be applied. It glided on and off perfectly.
Something to note is that the kickstand is NOT accessible while the case is on, but this was clearly advertised as such and so I have no complaints with that. (side note, it drives me nuts when people complain about a product for something like this when it could have been solved by doing 5 seconds of research).
I’d give the case a 9/10. I’d highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a protective case that is dockable, especially for the price point.

I’m not sure if this is an issue with clear cases but I would say, keep an eye on the actual console especially on the joycons. They tend to create dent/scratches. I was not aware of this and this is something I just found also on reddit. After a week of use I found a dent because of the case.
It looks like it would smudge easily no?
And it doesn’t look like the joycons have any grips to them
Thanks for the recommendation, OP! This looks better than the Air Fit case by Spigen! That thing was not an easy fit for the dock, it left little scratches on my Joy-Con and the hard plastic was slightly bent around the bottom USB-C port.
It looks ugly, I’ll wait for the jsaux one instead.
Looks completely unnecessary
One downside for me is that the joycons don’t fit in the grip when the case is on
I love Savage Raven (am using their carry case); I do wish they made a matte version of this (like Geekshare but sans tacky graphics on the back).

Why couldn’t they have added the grips from the NeoGrip on to the joy con bits?
I would totally buy this case if they did as I still find it uncomfortable to play handheld without proper grips for the Joy-Cons!
Awful. The slimy feel of plastic cases… should be outlawed.
