I’d like to introduce my two sets of starters for my African based region.
Basically if this were a game, depending on which version you pick, you would get a different set of starters and you would start at a different ends of the region than the other version.
First set:Commissioned by Pokexlox
Cafber=Calf-Ember
Steamalo=Steam-Buffalo
Buffner=Buff(like physically)-Buffalo-Burner
This ligh is based off African water Buffalo’s and they can store heat in their Horns, Tails, and later stomachs. Once Cafber evolves they can shoot steam out of their horns. And once Steamalo evolves they become a Dark type due to how territorial they are and how brutal of attacker they are as well.
Parasplash=Paradise-Splash
Sourdew=Souring-Moring Dew
Crainaqua=Crain-Aqua
This line is mainly based on the African Paradise Flycatcher Bird but the final evolution is based off Crains. They can sense when rain is coming and are even said to cause it. Once Sourdew evolves into their final form they become psychic type and basically they use their psychic powers to control the weather.
Terralin=Terra-Pangolin
Pangtress=Pangolin-Fortress
Razorcrater=Razor(Like Sharp)-Crater(like large hole)
This line is based off Pangolins. They find find rocks to use as armor to protect themselves which is why they are Grass Rock type. The first two stages are relatively shy but the final evolution is more protective and defensive.

Venlet=Venom-Snakelet(Baby Snake)
Veniper=Venom-Viper
Venathon=Venom-Python
This line is based on diffrent types of snakes obviously. They can basically fuse their venom into their fire which mix why their fire poison.
Tickter=Tick-Water
Spigloo=Spider-Igloo
Spiquafreeze=Spider-Aqua-Freeze
This line is based off Spiders but Ticklet is based of Ticks. Once Ticklet evolves it gains the ice type. Basically Spigloo builds Igloos in the sand to either hide or to just stay in. Ticklet is able to glide across the water like water spiders but once it evolves it can then freeze the water surface and skate across it like that. The whole like has hoses on there back or behind to spray freezing cold water that they can freeze to make like an ice webbing.
Gneed=Gnu(this is what a wildebeest is called by African natives)-Weed
Hoofroot=Hoof-Root
Hibiscubeest=Hibiscus Flower-Wildebeest
This line is based off wildebeests. They help tend to the flora and fauna in the wild and also are used to help/maintain gardens of their trainers to. Gneed eats unwanted weeds. Hoofroot uproots plants when’s when they’re ready to be harvested. And Hibiscubeest fertilizes and makes the plants grow. Once Hoofroot evolves they turn fairy type because of how friendly and helpful they are but also due to their favorite food, pink Hibiscus flowers.
