Hisui Cup is purely RPS. I'm running shadow Drifblim, Shadow Drapion, and Froslass. Basically played the same as your games, except try get shield advantage for a Froslass. Bibarel and Bastiodon basically rip apart that team though, so just top left if you see them

I'm using this right now and it's fun – Bibarel, Lucario (Force palm), S. Drapion (tried with Ice fang and poison sting, both are working fine for me)
First day I did pretty well, today had a really rough day and faced so many gastro leads. Might try this team out tomorrow!
