So the main reason I wanted these guys reworked is cause the first version of them didn't really capture the animal they're supposed to be based on. I asked a few people and I mainly got some kind of badger looking thing, and even one of my friends thought they were some kind of bears. So clearly they didn't look like what they were meant to be, which is otters (specifically sea otters, my favorite animal). And it's not like the first versions look bad, just the fact that they didn't look like otters was the main reason I wanted them updated. Another reason is cause the first four fakemon lines I ever had commissioned were drawn by a completely different artist than the one I work with now, so these guys and the other three lines I plan on having redrawn by my current artist to match the art style of the rest of my region (and possibly update/rework the line a bit if I think of some changes). But these new updated versions I think capture the otter vibe much better, especially the last stage. At the end of the day though it all depends on if I think they are better or not, which I definitely do, but am also curious on what other people think. Oh, and their names are Kelpup and Kelperior in case anyone was wondering.
