This happened to me. Was in NYC for the starly community day and decided to hop on a tour bus to save some walking. At some point the driver started going quick and the game flagged me as spoofing permanently then and there. Black screen. Level 48 with spending over 3k$ spent on the game and so many memories on the account. Really wish niantic revamped their ban guidelines bc I miss my account
It’s complete crap I got banned while I was in the hospital getting spinal surgery because someone hacked my account and I even showed proof of what was going on. They told me they would get it restored and never did.

I appreciate your opinions… but we don't know if he cheated or not. When you see so many people botting and exploiting in battle league and nothing happens, who knows what people would do. I don't think he cheated but you don't 100% know. He will be just fine. I just did battle league and watched 3 times today someone losing and then crashing the game so we both lose. So much rampant cheating and so many bots. Thanks to all the losers who need to validate their lives by climbing battle league ranks, and then spoof for better IVs, us legit players now need to worry.

Guys if youre going to spoof or actually fly to another place, please dont log in 12 hrs before doing so. This helped me not make it hot when i used to spoof.

GPS Spoofing is the cause for the ban. Pokémon GO does not allow it ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
He used commercial flight wifi. The problem with wifi is google etc nowadays do location association with endpoint SSIDs it deems are "fixed". The airline probably uses a SSID that is associated with one of these fixed locations and that location happened to be the other side of the world. Pokemon Go of course should NOT take Google's wifi location assist as gospel. I moved house and my wifi was "assisting" location from my old home 8 hours away for about 2 weeks. We would rubber band between there and local wifi assisted locations from our neighbours at the new home. I was terrified our accounts would get locked so we didn't play using wifi until the location updated.

This is very good news sick of people getting special treatment he could even call niantic up for his special treatment when everyone else gets a automated response from niantic since they not even read what you send them clearly not the first time he got out of ban by calling niantic if stays banned he not give the real story.

Don’t Spread misinformation, he was flying an airplane ✈️ was using their WiFi while catch Pokemon. From a computer reading this, it looks like spoofing. Very odd from a computer aspect
