The Anomalies (Legendary Quartet of the Querho Region)

These guys are meant to be the legendary quartet of my fakemon region. In game, each one of them would be found by investigating different urban legends around the region. The only thing I kinda don’t like about them is that I feel they’re a little to OP, but I really wanted to give them all a BST of 666 because I thought that would be fitting.

Phearockle: The urban legend goes that, in an abandoned apartment complex, anyone who enters feels as if they’re being watched. Reports of eyes manifesting on the walls are recounted by all. It’s difficult to tell the exact nature of Phearockle itself, as it never shows any signs of emotion. It’s meant to be used as a bulky trick room sweeper or a great tank. Its ability, Ghostly Shards, allows it to set up ghost type entry hazards whenever it’s hit by any attack. Its signature move, Mind’s Eye, allows it to paralyze foes and deal decent damage at the same time.

Stereoso: This legend tells of a strange radio broadcast that interrupts different stations at random times. An emotionless voice reads off cryptic messages over a long, steady beep. The player can interact with radios around the region that give different clues as to the location of where the broadcasts are coming from. Upon entering the building, they will come face to face with Stereoso, a giant teddy bear with large speakers for feet. It emits a deafening screeching noise whenever it is approached by someone with mal intent. Its signature ability, Frightening Feedback, allows it to deal 1/16 damage to any foe that hits it with any move, while its signature move, Stuffy Pound, is a powerful special move that lowers the target’s speed stat by one stage.

Videacreep: Similar story to Stereoso, just with disturbing TV broadcasts instead. You can track it down by observing the backgrounds and locations of the grizzly videos it plays. Very heavily based on Videodrome, this Pokemon feeds off of the fear gathered from its haunting broadcasts. In battle, it displays multiple images, most often that of a melting news anchor with a black void behind him, a single eye visible in the darkness. This guy kinda has a pointless ability. Haunted Broadcast lowers the speed of all Pokemon on the field every other turn, but only for that turn. Problem is, he’s most likely already the fastest Pokemon on the field at any given time, and in trick room, it essentially makes everyone even faster than him. His signature move, I think is pretty good, however. Flesh Flay functions as a reverse Victory Dance, lowering the target’s attack, defense, and speed by one stage

Grizzlestry: Based on the crowd SCP. This story goes that, on the 6th day of the 6th month of 2006, 6 people mysteriously went missing at around the same time. Meat puppets resembling each missing person were allegedly found attached to a stitched up flesh ball with one eye. The resulting combination of the bodies and the creature was dubbed, Girzzlestry by those who encountered it, as a pastry-like scent permeated the air around it. This is more of a unique gimmick pokemon, which its ability, Meat Shields, basically giving it a free Shell Smash each time it’s hit, allowing it to transition from a slow wall to a fast sweeper throughout the battle. I’m not sure how good it would be in practice, but I like the idea, especially because you can only raise or drop stats 6 times, I believe. Additionally, its signature move, Stew Siphon, allows it to drain one of its 6 meat puppets, represented by defense drops, to heal 50% of its health.

I’d love to know what you guys think of this legendary quartet.
