    They messed up the switch of forms. It should be that u don't take damage but also don't to damage in shield form. Now you are bulky as heck and hit like truck in shield form, when u change forms, you take all damage and do nothing. It should be switched that you make charge move in the form that you initiated it, just like morpeko. Now I even see that you don't change form from sword to shield after making charge move, great blunder, so you make highest damage moves all the time….

    Aegislash defense and attack stats is on the level of legendary pokemon translate on the main series whenever it changes shield and blade form, apparently.

    I think the best thing to do is just, never throw moves into shield form. It'll suck but your fast moves will do more pver time regardless, and if they swap you'll have max energy into whatever they bring in.

    I got 4 out of 5 sets positive in master league running a 1498 Aegis xD Hardest hitting pokemon were Ho-Oh, Giratina, and Dawn Wings!

    This Pokémon has a very interesting gimmick. I do believe Scopely will definitely fix this mechanic absolutely. Aegislash currently is still beyond illegal at the current moment, lol. Not to mention a BUSTED dual typing.

    Bro there’s just actually no decent counter play to this thing, the only realistic way to hit this thing for any actual damage would be to throw a charge move at the literal exact same time (not reliably possible if the pokemon you have at the given moment has a 3 or more turn fast move since aegislash is running a two turn fast move in psychocut and could then just wait to see that you did a fast move to know when it’s safe to throw a charge move to avoid a CMP tie) to CMP tie with it, since if you try to throw a charge move after they change to attack form they can just immediately swap out to return it to defense form, and then, even if you somehow manage to CMP tie with it, you’d need the pokemon that you currently have up against it to also have a lower attack than the defense form aegislash so that you get to throw your move second which I imagine would only be possible if you decided to take a great league pokemon with you to master league, which probably wouldn’t even end up doing that much damage anyways since it has a lower attack stat than defense form aegislash

    Like, obviously if they switch out then you get to counterpick them with your own switch, but like there’s nothing stopping them from taking two other well-rounded pokemon (pokemon that lack hard counters and cover each other well) and then just having aegislash nuke you constantly with either shadowball or flash canon, two moves that only one relevant master league pokemon resists both of, kingambit, a pokemon that hard loses to literally all of the best pokemon right now (zacian, zamazenta, origin palkia) meaning that if you take him to counter aegislash you’re low key throwing any game where your opponent doesnt bring aegislash.

    I don’t even want to imagine what this thing does in great league. This thing is eating nukes from 5000+ cp pokemon for like 20% of its health, how are the great league pokemon with their extraordinarily lower attack stats supposed to hurt it? Everyone else in the comments on this video is saying it, but yeah, aegislash obviously needs a patch to change how the attack and defense forms work because this thing takes literally everything that works about pokemon go pvp and just completely breaks it
