If the guy who gave my daughter these three Pikachus at a card shop in the panhandle of FL today is in this subreddit, I just want to say thank you. I’ve been trying to get my daughter into collecting the cards for about a year now, and she finally showed interest. Her current favorites are Pikachu and anything that is “shiny” (her words). And while shopping around today, you stopped and showed her your binder with all of your Pikachus and Venusaurs, and then came back up to me about 5 minutes later and handed me those three to give to her. She was so happy, and she mentioned “Wasn’t it so nice of that guy to give me those Pikachus?” No less than 10 times on the ride home. Thank you for showing me that there are still good people in this hobby, and for hopefully lighting a collecting spark in my daughter.
