Frosmoth got done dirty. Its stats are extremely similar to pachirisu ( +10 HP but -10 def, same SpDef) in MSG. It has nice SpDef in MSG, and its ability allows it to double so it actually is very bulky on the special side.
Go should’ve given it more bulk, this doesn’t make sense.

Introducing an extremely glassy Pokémon that has a 4x weakness to Rock & Fire and on top of that requires a crap ton of candy to evolve, was definitely not the way to go.😭😭😭

Frosmoth isn’t nearly as bad a defensive typing as ice grass or ice rock. Bug types are terrible attackers but have somewhat viable resistances in fighting and ground
The fact that a Legendary bird using one of the most OP flying moves can't knock out a little mouse is hilarious 😂
Frosmoth is one of my favorite Gen VIII Pokemon. I brought it to San Antonio in 2023, almost reverse swept a team but the enemy Gholdengo crit a Shadow Ball in the 1v1. Its stats were def made with its ability, Hail/Snow and Aurora Veil in mind.

that swampert player probably has played gen 1 main series where poison was super effective against bug types… or for any other reason thought poison was better than water in that situation (you can see the typings on top so don't think he mistook it as fairy type… unless he panicked and forgot to check top of the screen)
