My biggest issue with increasing the level cap is that there isn’t much benefit from it to the general populace. The main people who get to the level the fastest are the content creators who literally play for a living. It makes PvP impossible because the level spread would be insane. I suppose you suggest they create a new league called Elite league and they would get super exclusive rewards that they would then be able to spam because they don’t have much competition.

The fact that you can get to level 40 in a few weeks is just silly! 😅 The reason why ppl are not wanting level 60 is largely because of the GBL and being butthurt about others being too strong 😂
I’m fine with raising the level cap AS LONG as the CP doesn’t increase on pokemon. If i now need 592 candly xl to fully power a pokemon I will quit on the spot
I really don't mind level 60 but they have to increase the stardust we gain per catch coz 100 stardust per catch is disgusting 😮
This game needs level 60 to keep it exciting. I’m at level 50 & if there wasn’t the constant events it would feel stale.
Im ok with level 60 if they make getting to 50 faster. Some of these tasks are tedious. I stopped at 43 cause I dont bother doing pvp. As long as they dont increase the stats of raids, it would encourage me to actually push for it just so I can solo stuff
I’d love Level 50 for more purpose to play. I deliberately haven’t been going mad on XP but it’s nice to have something to work on. It will be tough seeing all my Level 50 mons not being maxed out, but that usually means they will inflate the value of stuff and make resources easier to obtain. I hope they make a new currency like the ‘Pokémon specific’ items from Scarlet and Violet – fur, scales, shards etc. rather than needing a mad amount of XL candies
I Prefer having 50 levels because a lvl 1 pokémon can be trained 99 times to get to lvl 50 so it is kinda lvl 100. Having level 60 will make no sense to me if it means having to xp your Pokémon more. Just my opinion on it.
Bro getting candy for pokemons is so dammm hard.
That means that I will have 1,000,000,000 Billion XP in the event level 60 isn't releasef by end of 2025. I am less than 6,000,000,000 million xp a way from having my 575,000,000 million xp. That I mention I would have before level 60 released. Then I will work on the rest of the Xp to take me to the beginning of the next level this year. That would increase the extra requirements level challenges.
I was receiving again for each Gigantamax Butterfree at least 200,000 thousand xp. By using a lucky egg and clicking on 200 coins to increase the xp and receive more.

Why wouldn't people want level 60? For those of us that have been sitting at 50 for years… we definitely are ready for this to drop! It gives us something extra to work towards and will keep people active.
If lvl 60 also means lvl 60 Pokemons then no thank you. Maybe sounds good on paper but lvl 60 chancy blissey bastiodon And so on. If the pokemon stay at the current max lvl then I don't mind lvl 60.

Couldn't care less about trainer levels, but pokemon level 60 is what I absolutely don't want. The amount of dust and xl candies needed for lvl 60 will be astronomical and only whales/content creators/cheaters will be able to get there anytime soon. That makes the game way more p2w than it already is. I am still grinding my top master league mons and raid attackers to lvl 50. Lvl 60 is unimaginable.
You know, for beginners it wouldnt matter. Maybe one out of 1,000 would have the patience to level to 40, 1 in 3,000 to 50, maybe 1 in 6,000 to 60 IN DUE TIME (by due i mean around 2 years to 60 from 0).
For veterans it matters, but in an annoying way lol. I mean, they already kind of told us to start over with dynamax / gigantamax, now this lol.
in clash royale whenever we get a new level we riot because its less about us and more about corporate making bank. i dont think we need lvl 60 , and how would we level up the pokemon? of course there is that stupid xl candy system , a new currency to level up post lvl 40. its gonna become annoying just like clash royale. there are tons of other things they can do, fix . our pvp is literally a stupid tappy tappy flappy bird system as compared to what we saw in the first melmetal pvp update trailer.
1:01 I just don´t want pokemon levels update. I don´t mind trainer levels. It would be real pain for PVP players if we have to change inventory again for level 60 pokemons. A lot of my build up mons would became useless because level 60 mons with different IVs would be much better than level 50. Not to mention how much resourses and XLs it would cost to get level 60 pokemon only to use it in GL or some limited cup. It would completely change the meta pokemons.
lvl51 requirement is to have at minimum of 177 million xp, but the level up task is to power up your Eternatus to lvl60 first.

pvp is already unbalanced enough and like 2% of the player base is level 50 , there’s no need for level 60 anytime soon , no one besides the very very very top grinders would even ever get there. it’s dumb
I thought the Paradox Pokemon were pretty abundant in Scarlet/Violet so I hope they are in raids and not just getting 1/2 of them.

For the Timed Incubator I’m hoping there won’t be any glitching with that when the Time expires on it. Imagine losing your egg along with it when the time is up. I know there will be players that will most likely still have eggs in these incubators when they are due to expire. My hope is even after they expire it will still let you fully hatch the egg before disappearing.

Gaining levels in this game doesn't do anything at this moment. After 40, there's no point except for that chase for the highest level. Functionally, it's pointless. I hope if/when they introduce 60 that there is actually a real reward for getting there.
Might not be 60, might just be level 50+, a lot of games have infinite level ups which keep you at top level but you get rewards for XP
I didn't want level 60 because I wanted to one day get to the top level. Last October I made it to level 50. I played hard to get there. It has been nice to just play at my own pace with no level goal to meet. I'm ok with the prospect of level 60. I just need to not let my competitive side take over. Otherwise I will get to where I dislike the game.

Bring on level 60. Yes, for those who are on level 40 trying to get to level 50, yes it's hard, but why should they care about the top level becoming 60 ? I play Royal Match and currently on level 2223. I know the top level is over 11,000 but I don't care if the levels get increased to 20,000 ! Be great if there were some sort of Master Research for each level over 50 to make it long term, just don't involve PvP or Dynamax as I have no interest. I'd be happy to purchase level Master Research's for say £2 for each level. Remember, it's a game, not a way of life.
