It would be easier to evolve and level if you purified but it would have more power if you didn’t. So do what you want.
It’s a personal choice. If you plan to use it in go don’t purify, if you want it to fill the 100% Dex or plan to send it to home then purify.
Wait for an event that might allow for quilava to evolve to its hisuian final evo.
I purify bc I feel bad keeping them shadow haha
Dont know why people say “dont purify” you won’t have any use of it as a shadow, might as well have another shundo in your collection.
Keep as shadow unless you got yourself another shiny 95% cyndaquil to purify for hundo sex
I always purify (the Pokémon are in pain). But others prefer to not purify.
If you choose not to purify, make sure you take this event’s opportunity to replace Frustration with a new move.
wait for the Mega Evolution, IFFFF Cyndaquil even gets one (I’m not into the new game leaks). Then you might wanna purify, or not. but right now, don’t do it. Shadow > Hundo
Basically don’t purify anything that’s meta and do whatever you want with the rest

Shadow shiny is more rare feeling imo
I would keep it and use the evolution as shadow, but make sure to evolve it at a CDay classic to get the CDay attack (or ETM). Pretty good as shadow.
Personally since there is no mega Typhlosion as far as I know I would keep it as a shadow because it’s going to be a lot stronger attack. But I don’t know I’m just a guy who everyone told me I was dumb for purifying a shiny Dratini shadow LOL
A level 50 shadow shiny typhlosion would be so cool for ML Premier, plus just having

A shadow shiny 98% is rarer than a shundo. It might be nice to have the 4* at first but personally I would keep it as it is.

You could always get a shundo in the future as long as you keep playing but a shadow thats almost a shundo I would keep because its mathematically rarer.
Nooo! Use a regular TM to remove frustration, cause a super high IV Shiny Shadow anything is so much better than any other non shadow shundo imo. You can get shundo’s, but if you purify the shadow is gone and rendered irrelevant.
This is one of the instances where I will say yes since Shadow Typhlosion is *good* but there are better Fire-types for pretty much anything.
I got a pipipek like this and ended up purifying it for the “Purify 100 Pokemon quest” and I regret purifying it even though it’s a hundo
Yeah, go for it.
People make a a big deal out of shadow vs not shadow, but they also make a lot of noise about how “IVs aren’t really that important.”
So if a shadow is always better than a non-shadow, and if IVs aren’t really that big a deal, then go on and get your purified shundo and just catch another shadow Cyndaquil.
(Or don’t worry about it either way, given that Typhlosion, even Shadow Typhlosion, isn’t really a must-take on any raids)
Absolutely do not purify
Why shouldn’t you purify? I always purify because I played colosseum and XD and know shadow pokemon are “in pain” and I feel bad. I also don’t keep shinys in go mostly cuz they suck go stat wise so they go to home and into whatever game allows them and hyper train
I would not purify as getting a 98% shiny shadow is very, very rare. Purifying would only get you one extra IV, not worth it IMO.

If it were me, I’d wait until I caught 3 more shiny shadow Cyndaquil, then if that happens purify him. If done that with Cubone (1 regular, 1 marowak, 1 I have stashed for alolan marowak evolve day) and then I purified my 96 iv one.
I need one more drowzee shadow shiny then I’ll do the same with him

Personally there are only 3 scenarios in which I go for purified hundo:
1. I already have another shadow with better IVs
2. It has a mega evo that I don’t have anything close to a hundo of
3. It’s something that isn’t really useful to have regardless
None of these really apply here. I would at least get rid of frustration to be safe and wait until the takeover is done and asses what you have then
