Master League Preview



Here is an updated preview of Master League next season using PvPoke and thanks to the GameMaster file provided in this post by u/Careful-Pickle

I have changed the GameMaster file so Dragon Tail generates the same energy as Dragon Breath over 3 turns (I'm sure it won't generate less), and have updated the movesets using Moveset Overrides in PvPoke's Custom Rankings. In particular pokemon that can use Dragon Breath and Dragon Tail have been changed to do so. The result is a closer to accurate view of Master League next season. It's definitely going to be a Dragon heavy meta!

    I mean what the hell is going on ? Everything and their mom runs Dragon Tail, even the Steel Dogs can’t beat the top dragons any more, wow. The meta is only Dragon Tail users + Fairies and some Steels

    As someone who has never been able to catch a good Palkia with Spacial Rend, it’s going to be another tough season.

    Will probably change even more with Florges getting Chilling Water.

    Glad to see my hundo Reshiram and Zekrom getting some viability. They’ve always been fun sleeper picks in the past. Zekrom walling off Ho-Oh energy is surprisingly useful.

    i doubt dragon tail will be that buffed, 12 energy is already unprecedented for that kind of 3 turn move

    What happens if C. Zacian’s moveset is changed to use Play Rough instead of Close Combat? This might be relevant with the buff to Dragon-types.

    How is groudon ranked so high now that O palkia is even more op?

    Now that Im about to get my final forme zygarde he drops to 19 place which is not bad but he number 1 for so long
