Yeah, don’t leave if you die. Even though my teammates were absolute bots yesterday morning in the d-max Raikou battle. (Two out of the other 3 teammates were using Lapras and Suicune against Raikou) They stayed and cheered & it powered up that max meter so damn fast. It was down to 20% health and I was the last one left with all 3 Pokemon and took it down.
Off topic but how can you see the move names on labra

I appreciate your effort here, but still the information in game isn’t what we need to know. Those numbers are damage numbers and without a way to know how long those moves take, the player is left to assume bigger number = more damage. We can beat around the bush all we want but the information necessary to understand Dynamax battles doesn’t exist as a resource in game. The only way a player would organically come to the conclusion that the faster fast moves work better at filling the Dynamax meter would be for the player to already be observing for meter fill speed and to make consecutive battles with all variables the same except changing fast move. Odds of that happening are astronomically small
Bro is officially done with people
“If you don’t have good attackers then just use fast attacks”
Even with great attackers, you should be using the 0.5s fast attacks and ignoring charge attacks.
The damage during this phase IS IRRELEVANT, charging the meter is all that matters.
Do you still get a chance to catch the mon if you lose your pokemon but still cheer?
Something I wondered. I know you shouldnt charge attack, but should you dodge to collect the energy pickup things? or is that “bait” too if you have the right fast attack.
PSA Here’s a post on fast moves for max battles

When the D-Max Lats were released, my team had two people that didn’t have powered up counters so they kept tapping the cheer button. Doing that was very likely how we beat it because the max meter charged before the Latios could get off more than one attack.
My question, I don’t have many built dmax attackers, definitely not enough to build around a type, the trio working for me is blissey, and the doggos, any cases where these are more of a liability than it’s worth? I don’t often do gmax raids because it’s hard to find lobbys with more than 20, and filling my own is a NO, been having fun with the legendary ones
I truly wish that Charge moves filled the meter more than they currently do. The meta of “pick a 0.5s Fast move and use only that” is pretty boring
