I'm so glad I grew up with Gens 1-3 in an era where the internet wasn't as prevalent as it was today. To me, nothing will ever beat that era of Pokemon. It's literally my childhood lol. Red, Gold, Ruby and Fire Red….. Mixing records and visiting my friends' Secret Bases…. Strategy Guides instead of the internet….. Game Links…. Action Replays and GameSharks….. Nintendo Power subscriptions and monthly free posters… Even the E-Reader! It was a magical time to be a Pokemon fan.
