To be fair, it is almost indistinguishable… For sure I would have an hard time telling one from the other.

  2. mrdominoe

I kind of liked the look of enemies in the background being a lower framerate to those on the foreground.

  3. Captain_Flaps

So pumped to play this, having not played on Switch 1.

Just need to get Donkey Kong Bananza finished!

  4. Going to make me buy this game for a 3rd time. Initially bought on digital to beat it. Then bought the physical S1 version for my collection. Might need another run through with the better graphics on S2. This game was a masterpiece.

  5. SmokedUp_Corgi

Looks about the same on this video but you can tell it’s 60FPS.

  6. IlMonco1900

Yay now it’s actually in the state of a 10 year old game thanks Nintendo 👍

  7. schuey_08

I really wish we could get the performance upgrade without having to buy the DLC.

ITT: people who don’t realize their YouTube is set to 30fps

  9. IskandrAGogo

Was there any word about the Switch 2 DLC being part of NSO + expansion pack?

The fact that the 30 and 60FPS gameplay don’t look incredibly different (although still quite noticeable) shows how important frame pacing is and how often it’s overlooked. Slightly hot take: I think theres a bigger difference between an uneven, poorly paced 30FPS and a perfectly paced 30FPS compared to a perfectly paced 30FPS and 60FPS.

    Well.

My phone screen is clearly the wrong viewing experience for this.

  12. feed_me_haribo

Never played it but it looks nice. Is it overly easy?

  13. FunkmasterP

This game is perfection. I just finished DK Bananza, which was a blast, but I enjoyed this more.

  14. SlackMan98

I only played the demo of the base game back when it came out, so I guess this is the perfect time to jump into this! Can’t wait to grab this gem.🎮

  15. Force_Tentacles

Really looking forward to this now. I didn’t even remember the game was in 30 fps. Almost wish I hadn’t already 100% the main game just to experience the visual boosts more but I’m hopeful the expansion will be satisfying enough.

  16. My kids just finished the postgame last week. Just in time for the dlc!

  17. AFAIK the video will only run in full 60fps if you watch directly from YouTube

  18. getmeoutahhere

So the game runs how it should have from the start, Awesome! I’m so glad that I spent over $800 to get a Switch 2 day one with a couple of games and accessories just to play Switch 1 games!

Yeah… looks like this is the first game I’m going to be upgrading to the Switch 2 edition.

Is this game worth playing as a Nintendo fan.. but doesn’t like playing games that feel easy enough for children? I thought odyssey was great so that is a good comp for me

  21. Alexcox95

I only played up to the first boss before so this will be fun

  22. DaveyTTime

I wanted this for my Switch, but never pulled the trigger. Very happy we are now getting an upgrade and more content. Will be grabbing this first thing in the morning haha

  23. supercakefish

Night and day difference. Okay Nintendo, you got me, I’ma get this game.

  24. KazzieMono

Looks like they reduced the flower density on the skyscraper. Probably realized how egregious and unnecessary it looked lol.

  25. meteorprime

Please make more Kirby games my son loves them!

  26. _Ship00pi_

Maybe its a bad video. But I see no difference between the two.

  27. JustDodgeM8

Any idea if thr switch 2 edition can have 2 player online like dk bananza? Would really like to do a full playthrough with a buddy

  28. IDontCheckMyMail

Obviously looks way better. Not revolutionary but yeah, way better.

Excited to try it out! Haven’t played switch 1 edition.

  29. BurstTheGravity

This was one of best looking Switch 1 games already. I can see some improvements from the original, but nothing that ruined my experience playing the original. If I get the upgrade, it will be for the DLC.
