Pokemon Go

One year of POGO: my stats and thoughts

I started playing Pokemon GO exactly one year ago. It was initially my kid's idea but he lost interest pretty soon. He likes to do trainer battles once a while (win-win!) and evolve pokemons (not ideal…) but other than that this is now my dear hobby.

I'm a casual player. My main motivation is to fill the pokedex. So where am I after 365 days of playing?
*Level 40 (soon 41)
*Total XP 25 million
*Pokemons caught above 12 000
*Money spent 40 euros (for remote raid passes)
*4 platinum medals
*1 trade (remote trading when)
*Biggest fail: forgetting to claim July GO Pass rewards
*Happiest moment: catching a cute shiny

I enjoy raiding for pokemons I don't yet have. What annoys me most is a pokemon fleeing multiple times after using a remote raid pass (looking at you shadow Kyogre). The second point is shiny mons that look like originals. Otherwise, no big complaints.

I play mostly alone. My small town does not have many active players. Occasionally I travel to the close by city to fully enjoy the experience (Mighty pokemon event last year was so much fun!). This week I might have left a company event an hour before planned so that I could walk around the main station and attend raids in person (shhh don't tell anyone where I got that Necrozma).

Thank you for the great community and I wish everyone many excellent catches!

Now, tell me: What were your stats after one years of playing?
