Those of us who never had official repair services (according to Nintendo anyway, we only have one authorized repair center in all of Argentina, I checked) won’t notice a difference.

I appreciate anyone who can fix a 3DS/2DS even if not official, they’re doing a good work for the community.

This makes me sad. Once mine goes, that’s all she wrote.

I just sent my new 3ds ll here in Japan for top screen replacement (third party) and they quoted me 120 usd đŸ¤£.

No hesitation and now patiently waiting for the repaired n3dsll

To be fair parts were getting horribly low so not much of a surprise

There goes another one. Sweet dreams, 3DS/2DS

  6. Ok my Samus Returns Edition New 3DS XL: You better not quit on me any time soon. I promise to only ever lift the screen up from the center. Don’t fail me hinge!

A very cool system. Nintendo’s last really unique system. I suppose the modern business realities make such systems impractical.

I was hoping the Switch 2 would have a 3D screen though. I thought the 3D was great. Especially on the new 3DS models. The tech has improved since apparently (Some laptops got some cool screens).

As much I enjoy my Switch, I genuinely believe the N2DSXL was the ideal portable console. End of an era.
