They cannot even turn shiny on or make correct raid boss spawn during raid hour for sure this will be broken if people put up pokemon with backgrounds for trade you will be able to give them a pokemon without a background for sure.
Going to 100% need remote pass or new trade item for this no reason for them to do this spending money on making this happen when you even had eternatus cost so much.
We know why Lucky trinket was removed it makes you the highest friendship level for trades even reduces the stardust cost.

I hope remote trading includes lucky friend status. A "Niantic way of doing it" would be to not allow lucky friend trades to be done remotely… It will most likely also have a restriction on the number of remote trades you can do per day.
About the trading system I don't think it would be very effective to just have an "offer" process. If you put out a top 3 list of the ones YOU want to trade to another player, it would also be good if you had the ability of saying "I want these top 3 pokemon". But yeah I guess that would be problematic because there is no way that you can get a list of all available pokemon and select whatever you'd like, Niantic will never do that (think of all the costume variants and so on). My point with that suggestion is that other people would never know what you want. Its only based on what they offer which you might not like. But I guess it works if you get in contact with the person via other chat applications to coordinate so you can tell them what you're after.
There will definitely be major issues when this releases. I sincerely believe that people will trade and neither trader will get their pokemon and niantic will give affected trainers 50x Pokéballs.

What do you think we should be saving and tagging for remote trading for people say on the other side of the world? I would think regional ones yes do people like the background ones? Gimigouls or meltans that are hard to get? Shiny things? Do we know how it will work with stardust an unregistered mon can cost a lot of stardust to trade and many times I don’t have a lot if I am leveling up mons. Mabe older com day with the exclusive move?
Charging for a remote trade would be the dumbest thing they could do. People would just never opt for it.
