Trade Buddy Update – 9/5

I was frustrated by the gap between Gens 2 and 3, so I built the Trade Buddy, which bridges the generations via trading. Many transferred Pokémon have gone all the way up to current generation.

The Trade Buddy V1 was sent out to 2 users for testing, and they have provided great feedback. Here are a list of improvements already implemented:

1. Battery life improved
2. Items are now transferrable, including evolution items
3. Eggs can now be traded
4. Analogue Pocket compatibility (in progress)

I am working on a V2 unit that removes the battery while maintaining “wireless” power via the link cable.
