I…what do I have to do?!?

I have been playing since 7.26.2016. I cannot believe that I have not had a chance to catch a shiny Charmander or anything in the line.

I know I can trade… but I wish I was joking that it's never happened. Does the game hate me? Am I doing something wrong? I am at my wits end, really.

Those that have one… was it like anything different from any other shiny? Maybe you did something that I can do. I dunno… just frustrated.
