The Aurora Region:
Based off of New England, and mainly known for its unique fauna/flora, Aurora is well known around the world for its many great, powerful, unique, and strange Pokémon. Its gym leaders are no joke, and have earned their status for a reason, and its elite four is also very intimidating.
This region also includes a new feature, Apex Pokémon, which are similar to Mega Evolutions, and require specific achievements to acquire. For example, Flygon, which needs to hold an Apex Gem(an item always required for Pokémon who have apex evolutions to evolve no matter what), being level 70, and know the move Draco meteor(Which it can be taught after the dragon gym). Apex evolutions, or Alphalutions are very difficult to achieve, but once they are, they are permanent, so once they evolve a (specific) Pokémon into an Apex, they can’t go back.
Pokémon Amethyst:
This is just a theoretical game based on my region, and it will follow your character as you fight through the eight gyms of the region;
-Bug
-Ghost
-Ice
-Grass
-Electric
-Dark
-Fighting
-Flying
All these gyms are in order in which you fight them, but as you go, you'll have to take on the infamous Team Primal, who want to revert the earth to its prehistoric state, and want to revive all fossils, and eliminate all the futuristic Pokémon.
The Fire Starter:
Timblaze, the timber Pokémon

Pokédex Entry: "Rattlash coils itself in the sun, using its vibrant colors to ward off predators. It is known to create dazzling displays of sparks and ashes when rattling its tail."
