I have been playing for just over 9 years. Today I happened to realize it was one of my oldest Pokemons birthday! (I am European. But the date format is always mm/dd lol)
I remember I HAD to use a Great Ball for a quest. When I started playing all you could do was catch like 95% of Kanto. When Ditto was added to the game a few months later, I remember getting ALL my friends together after school to find it! We ran all over the neighborhood hoping we’d catch it and only went home when all of us did.
It gets me a little nostalgic to see how the game has changed. Happy Birthday!
