Sister splinter literally does 2 damage to you when she falls from the ceiling stunned. Boss hitboxes should not do damage while they are stunned period. That’s the biggest load of bs I’ve ever seen in a game. Just bad design.

I’m not even good at video games and I didn’t have any more issues with any of these bosses than I did with bosses in HK. I don’t understand why there is so much vitriol over the tuning. I beat both of the incoming nerfed bosses after multiple tries and learning their patterns. Isn’t that the point?
If it’s a development change because they didn’t intend them to do so much damage then maybe, but I really like the challenge from this game. I think it’s perfectly fine the way it is. Downvote if you like I guess but this game is fantastic.
I genuinely thought you were supposed to die to the sandcarver and come back once you were able to dash as like a tutorial boss lol

Kinda bummed about the sandcarver damage reduction. I liked that they did 2 damage and it worked thematically. They’re literally eating you and it made falling into the pits way scarier. Plus they’re not really hard to avoid

So far I don’t have any issues with the boss difficulty all the attacks are well telegraphed so it’s rewarding to learn. The problem for me are the runbacks…especially the last boss of act 1. Even fromsoft now has learned that running back through areas to fight a boss is not difficult, it’s just annoying.

Glad I got the satisfaction of defeating Moorwing and sister splinter in this form. Sister splinter is actually quite fun to go up against, but f*** Moorwing, especially since your resting place is much farther away from it, annoying boss indeed.

Not to be “that guy,” but I am genuinely surprised by the decision to nerf Sister Splinter. I was surprised by how easily I downed that boss specifically. But I guess now I’m wondering if I just got lucky.
