I think it’s a skill issue. I’ve seen so many YouTubers do competitive GBL and I never once hear any one of them complain about GBL. They have bad leads, and they toughen it out and win.. you just back out because you get a bad lead. 🤷♂️ just my thought. I quit playing GBL years ago because of how it is, and maybe I’m just bad at it. But yeah, seems like a skill issue imo.

I enjoy pvp, you gotta have a good safe swap you did not.
The algorithm is annoying, but having a dominant team helps..

I think the “rant” is warranted, but I also would recommend rather than changing the front line mon, switch the places of the two rear Pokémon on your team. I’ve noticed this to be more helpful than changing the lead. I’d love to see what you find doing that.
