my top 3 are kawayoo, Teeziro and Tomokazu Komiya. with my top 5 cards that theyve illustrated
kawayoo is the chefs kiss of pokemon in action, theres so much dynamic to his art style its honestly amazing. Its hard to explain why I like his art so much but to visualize it, its like a pep talk during a finals game.
Teeziros art is like a fresh cup of coffee in the morning, their art is just phenomenal with such a warm feeling to it. might be bias but theyve drawn 2/5 of my favorite tcg arts of all time with a massive portfolio even while only starting during chilling reign
Tomokazu Komiya has mastered the art of emotion portrayed in his works. every single card hes drawn has the focus purely on the pokemon, like its the main character of the card (as it should be) like come on every single card he has illustrated has a story and who doesnt love a silly artstyle?
both illustrators are extremely masterful, but there are also many MANY others that need to be respected aswell. (to name a few: sui, Shinji kanda, Mitsuhiro Arita, Mazakazu Fukuda)
