As always these task are for unknown rewards only (Pokemon). Rewards for tasks that include known rewards (berries, potions, energy etc) are not included. You can find a complete list of all field research tasks [here](https://pokemongohub.net/post/guide/pokemon-go-field-research/). These tasks do not include event/special/mapping research that are marked as such on it.

I’ve done so many spin 5 research and they all have a meowth variation. Never growlithe or Slowpoke.

It’s so lame how little these change, especially when they changed things to a seasonal shift.
Same Catch 7 Pokemon and Catch 5 Weather Boosted Pokemon. Win a 3* raid or higher and Win 5 raids are the same. Evolve a Pokemon still has Eevee but then is a pretty big *downgrade* otherwise. Power up tasks are still the same. All of the throw tasks are the same. The walking candy ones are identical. Hatching Egg ones are similar but somewhat worse than last time.
Blegh. I know they were never that common, but would it kill them to throw in a few “chase” quests each season? 3 excellents in a row for Gible were really fun to track down in our community pre-Gible CD. I don’t mind past pseudos still being in field research, but would it kill them to throw Frigibax in its own research quest pre-CD to hunt? Or Dreepy? Or even things like “Hatch 3 eggs” for Tinkatink, “Defeat a Team Rocket Leader” for Salandit or Varoom, or add Dondozo or to “Win 5 raids.” They could still be rare and they’re not super easy to complete, but it gives people something to hunt.
I obviously can’t speak for every player, but how many people really get excited by 5 nice throws for a Diglett, Spin 5 stops for a Growlithe, or Power something up 7 times for a Litten?

After starting playing the game a little over a year, this seems to be the least interesting field research for the season. The only good thing seems to be the win one raid for that elusive Skiddo and Rockruff.

Something to note: you can get 20 Alakazam or Slowbro Mega Energy from “power up 10x” tasks. I’m not sure when Alakazam was last available (returning player) but I haven’t got one yet. I’ve already had 2 of those tasks in the last few days and am hoping to mega my hundo Alakazam just off those🤌🏼

Win a Raid is decent. I have been getting the sunset Rockruff in the last few tasks.

The walk for buddy candy ones are just plain insulting. At a minimum, that’s 2 km for a jigglypuff lol. And the buddy system and BB boost encourage us to walk with things that are more like 40 km for a jigglypuff.
Like, if that was a premium encounter I might keep one or two tasks around. But not for a glameow

I don’t think I have ever once gotten a remote raid pass from breakthrough. 90% of the time it’s red balls or useless upgrade mats
