Yikes. I’m actually surprised about the Mario galaxy one coming out considering it came out on the 35th although I guess people can’t get that anymore.

What a joke. $40 for a game that should have been packed in with 3d all stars originally

  3. HeppyHenry

$80 for 2 Wii games lol Nintendo is a fucking joke dude

  4. These were $20 each on Wii U…….

    Super Mario 3D All-Stars was $60 for 3 games ($20 each)…..

Nintendo has conditioned consumers into valuing these games at $20. I think most expected this to be $20 when it was announced. $40 is really indefensible.

I was kind of expecting $19.99 for each. All stars was 60, 20 for each game. No, though. They decided to bone.

If these were remastered and therefore the same price and type of product as Metroid Prime Remastered thats probably fair but it didn’t seem like they actually remastered either game(?)

  7. ThatLazyFinnishGuy

They will cost me 0 because I won’t be playing them at that price.

And they’re not even switch 2 enhanced. Good lord Nintendo.

  9. I’m one of the first to go “whatever, just don’t buy it”, but 40 bucks for a wii title is daylight robbery.

Should be $20. It was $20 each for 3D allstars. Galaxy 2 should be DLC for that.

Didn’t bother with a switch 2, and looks like I’ll be skipping these despite having the disposable income and thinking galaxy 2 was peak Mario. Nintendo is making these decisions really easy…

  12. Linked713

I was DYING to get galaxy 2, but at that price, no thanks.

  13. Tribal_Cult

Does this mean the physical version is 80? Damn ahahahah

  14. super_memories

Good price for increase the use of emulators

  15. DonkeyKongsNephew

It’s crazy that games like UFO 50 and Silksong are the price they are for such value meanwhile Nintendo is doing this.

  16. joeybonts_

This is such bullshit for a game that should’ve been included in 3D All Stars. People will still buy this and support the price unfortunately

  17. bonelatch

They need to supplement the kindergarten level writing they added to the story book.

This is Nintendos “variable pricing” at work lol, the game is priced at what they think they can get away with, not the actual value.

It’s why Metroid prime remastered was $40 but other ports like skyward sword and Luigi’s mansion 2 HD are $60. Pikmin 1+2 is $50 while this is $70… Nintendo is on a very high horse, drunk off that switch 1 success.

As a long time Nintendo fan, I’m starting to be priced out of a lot of things they are putting out and that makes me sad.

It’d be nice to just have game stores again that you could walk in, rent the game for 5-6 days for like $8, beat it, and return it.

When N64 came out, you could rent one for 6 days from blockbuster for $25 with a single game. Thats how I played so many N64 games.

Bring back physical game stores. You didn’t HAVE to buy a game to play it, and blockbuster would have 3-4 copies on hand of the most popular games at LEAST. And if the game you wanted was out of stock…..brother, there’s a ton more games, surely something would catch your eye.

Or if you had multiple consoles, you could rent a game you wanted on it. Miss that shit.

  21. Necroshock

Ya’ll will keep complaining and yet if you keep buying it they’ll keep doing it.

  22. TheWebCon

Only Nintendo would sell the same game on the same console twice and force people to rebuy it to access new content that wasn’t in the original FOMO’d release. Galaxy 2 is nice but $40 per game is ridiculous, especially when Galaxy 1 was already kinda priced at $20 in 3D All-Stars

  23. I’m just putting my copy of the game, which I got for 20$, into my Wii and I’ll be fine.

  24. MrVernonDursley

I think I’m firmly off the Nintendo train for now. I was on the fence about getting a Switch 2 with the pricing and $80 Mario Kart, but if Nintendo is gonna be *this* unrelenting with everything for the foreseeable future, I don’t think it’s a smart investment.

I want it physically but it feels redundant that I already have the first Galaxy in the previous collection.
