Oh snap, I didn't know about this. Maybe this will improve game performance? Support told me when the game is laggy to refresh the game in the settings and it seemed to work. Also there is a setting to make the game run better at cost of extra battery consumption, and it did improve my game a lot!
Edit: people do still do the lag cheating in battle league though 😂
Since the last update yesterday my sister couldn't open the game. She disinstall and re installed it a lot of times and yet it remains blocked on the date selection or New or Existing player, or if it goes through that the will open Pokèmon go live website. I don't know what's happening. Any advices?

it honestly doesnt take a tonne compared to instagram or tiktok, however it needs the data to relay location updates consistently, if you teleported across the map then stood still for 5 minutes on repeat you wouldnt be a fan. excited for the foreshadowed mega ray ray this season tho.
I have unlimited data, so it's inconvenient to be forced to use wifi which I use maybe 3 times a year. At least give us the option

I would say, the updates from your app store are the bigger changes in code. This update of assets though, it's only cosmetics, new costumes, new backgrounds, sometimes new maps and stuff like that. At least from what I understand.
I don't download assets. My phone has little storage. Instead I just lower graphics, turn on battery saver, and turn on native refresh rate. It helps as my phone no longer crashes out during a max battle or lag much. I also lag less during battles and I can actually see my pokemon's attacks. The only trade off is that it drains my phones battery, but it's not to bad.
Nah, changing pvp and making it actually cool like in the melmetal trailer instead of a tappy tappy flappy bird system, bringing back covid long distance benefits, reducing remote raid prices, fixing the issues and bugs , making sure events actually offer what they say and not messing up like the origin raid day and the Zamazenta and Zacian misshap , all of these things i could not really care less about. I still think these ban waves of spoofers is what they need to focus on instead of fixing the game, even though someone else spoofing doesnt really impact me in anyway, it bugs me when i see a spoofer teleport to hundos till one of them turns out to be a shiny.
The game needs to be less user friendly it's just never enough to have Niantic/Scopely satisfied

In 2025 – I can download Genshin Impact on data, Hearthstone, Diablo,, Life is Strange. All mentioned games have several GBs. Pokemon Go – no, because reasons.
When I went to log into the ambassador event i got a game update notice,,,, so (big mistake) I hit yes,,, it normally takes 3 minutes,,,, 40 minutes later I was finally able to start playing,,, They are turning my game I play for fun into a job,,.
It shouldnt be a surprise that this game takes up space. Mobile gaming is updates with new content that take up storage space. I seen this with Call of Duty Mobile, Pokemon Go, Shadowgun legends. Long are the days of simple gaming on apps. Plus because of enhanged graphics, it makes phones shut down. I seen this happen with Pokemon Go and Avatar Realms Collide.
Was about 900 Mb for me. Did only take 4-6mins via home wlan.
