Hello everyone, I'm sobuwei and this is my first post on the Fakemon subreddit. My boyfriend and I spoke of creating Fakemon one summer afternoon and I started by illustrating our most interesting concept.
This Fakemon line is based off of the real life moth "Creatonotos gangis"! Also known as the Baphomet moth, it got its name from its four inflatable scent organs called coremata. Given that they ressemble horns or even tentacles, it gives the moth a very creepy allure… Fitting for a ghost-type Pokémon!
