A couple months ago I was able to spend a couple days at the new Epic Universe in Orlando and absolutely loved it. I was most excited for Super Nintendo World and it is definitely my favorite land but man is that a great park. I knew there was going to be a fountain show at night in the hub area featuring a Mario segment but avoided all spoilers other than that SMB 1-1 was the intro. Started off fun, SMB 1-1, SM64 Peach’s Castle, and then it went full out Gusty Garden Galaxy + SMG Overture, then Fossil Falls + Jump Up, Superstar! To be completely honest I was just in blissful shock that Gusty Garden was blasting around this park I’d been looking forward to for ages and honestly still am. That being said, that and the SMG overture theme makes so much sense given that we know about the SMG movie now and makes me wonder if it will become a trilogy with Odyssey. I know the Old Spice leaks feature Odyssey characters so it is possible it’s all smushed together but they definitely planned ahead for the fountain show and I’m not complaining.
