Psyduck especially since the pool floatie event. Got me to level 40
vanord12
Pretty much any Pokemon except scatterbug, exeggcute, Zubat, geodude, and Magnemite.
TurquoiseUnicorn
Snorlax for sure.
I’m on lvl 49 right now so I need to hit 999 excellent throws to level up. I love Snorlax because not only is it easy to hit the excellent throw, if I use a regular pokeball and no berries, I rarely catch it on the first few throws. The other day I hit 11 excellents in a row before I caught it
komijul
sudowoodo. I remember there was a get x amount of excellents in a row to get some kind of rare pokemon from some event a few years back and I just loved it when I saw a sudowoodo. It just kept escaping the ball and I pretty easily got the excellents I needed. I didn’t catch that sudowoodo, but I was grateful it got me through that quest.
Eumanone
Sudowoodo. He just stands there… menacingly!
empstat
Sealeo has been better for me than any of the other favorites like Snorlax, Furfrou and Psyduck.
LankOfHyrule
I’ve had countless critical catches with sealeo this whole event. So damn easy. I’ll miss it when it’s over
deepfocusmachine
I’m like 99/100 on ponyta at this point
GSUSISBEAST
Corphish!! Even though he’s leaving tonight </333
oliveloft
Furfrou
fatprairiedog
Zubat

Ponyta. Had a streak of 13 Excellent on the last ponyta spotlight hour.
Neardeath06
Ponyta
Diglett3
For some reason I always seem to hit them perfectly on Zigzagoon. Just gotta boop him right on the nose.
Outrageous_Olive_489
The easiest to me to get excellent throw are nosepass, sudowoodo, magikarp and snorlax. I get it all the time.
Everviolet2000
Psyduck with the floaty. It can stick around forever.

Grimer for me was the very first pokemon i catch all of for the guaranteed 1000xp.

Remember how much XP we earned during that slowpoke community day?
GimlionTheHunter
Rapidash is pretty nice
Belt_Pretend
Slowpoke and Snorlax

Yanma 😊
pepperpackjack
Meltan all the way! I can open the mystery box and nail every single one with excellent throws like it’s nothing.
AyonKing2
Solrock
yuricat16
I like Tauros and Bouffalant bc they are easy excellents AND they are perpetual spawns for me. But when Snorlax is around, I love farming multiple excellent throws on each spawn. Working on 385 excellent throws for the shiny Jirachi Masterwork, so I care more about the throws, less about the catch.

Corphish during the last event was real nice.

One of the few bonuses of being in the Australian beta test zone (with all the bugs of NZ but none of the makeups): Kangaskhan might be the easiest excellent in the game.

Dense_Computer7966
Gothitelle, it’s a lil close to the camera but once you get it down it’s CLEAN every time. Slowpoke and Furfrou as well
DaddyOhMy
Origin Palkia was pretty easy to hit with an excellent.
The_Mouse_That_Jumps
Dratini.

There are quite a few that fit the following criteria:
Stands close to you (larger throw circle)…but not stupidly close (ie ursaring).
Is just a standard throw (ie not a weak/short or strong/long throw)
Doesn’t move around (ie fly up/down, or shift left/right)
Isn’t rabid as hell (ie doesn’t use attack animation much).
As long as it’s one of these its basically the same easy excellent throw.
I will admit I can pretty much excellent Pidgey/Ratatta just as easy but thats just because I have hand-caught about 8k of one and 5k of the other.

Gothita without a doubt.
MuzakMaker
I’m going to miss this Concierge event
Psyduck, Corphish, & Sealeo was so good for grinding
I got my 80 throws for page 34 in just about an hour.
Aside from the obvious big circle + low movement ‘mon, my sleeper pick is Drowzee. For some reason I can hit excellents on that tapir without trying
StrawberryTerry
Nagandel
Hanta3
Most are easy, but my least favorite are Zubat/Golbat, Voltorb, Magnemite, and weirdly Eevee.
Pokemon that are super low to the ground are a pain, too, though I can’t recall any specific ones off the top of my head. You’ll throw and it looks like it’ll hit dead center, but it just bounces off the ground instead.
Every other Pokemon is more or less equally easy.
North-Rub-3592
Farfetch’d. I rarely miss the excellent.
Extension_Rest1774
Staryu, I just love that I know where to hit it for the excellent( its red circle) , not the easiest but the most satisfying
Wibble123
Stonjourner. Difficult to miss.
GeraltOfDissidia
I 100% agree with slowpoke.
Unlike most of the other ‘easy’ catches suggested, he just sits there waiting to be caught. No wasted balls or time, just him, barely moving.
Him and meowth are the only common spawn I always catch.
tiabritt
Chansey is a good one for me
Disgruntled__Goat
For XP => either Slowpoke or Ponyta. Easy excellent and easy catch.
For a research => Sudowoodo, definitely. Pretty easy excellent and *difficult* catch, which means you can keep throwing excellents over and over on the same Pokemon.
RK0019K
Mine’s weird, and it’s Growlithe. I just somehow always get excellent throws on it. Sure, Slowpoke, Snorlax, etc. are great but I just always nail Growlithe.
I did go through a phase where I could always land excellent throws on Joltik of all things but I can’t do that any more.

Machop is an easy one
I’m astonishingly consistent with woopers
