Meta really changed. Some Pokemon that used to be the top are not used anymore. I recently realized that pokemon like swampert and Altaria who used to be strong in the great league disappeared.
Edit: looked up on pvpoke. Altaria is still good, but I rarely encountered them recently, but Swampert really fell off. It used to be overpowerd.
