Ah, is that why I’m not finding Indeedeedeedeedee spawning in the wild or in Raids? They really need a warning label on egg-only events that says “whale only everyone else ignore.”
It’s nothing to do with whether or not you think it’s a wild take or not. They are going to set egg rates in a way that will force people to walk/play and / or buy incubators.
Of course we all would want it to be easier to get the new mons. This isn’t some wild take that no one thought of until you did now. This has been said for years.
They’re not rare if you give the company your money for more incubators. Suddenly they start showing up like magic. Imagine that!

All those 10k eggs are great for the hatch 12 eggs task in the timed research. Without premium items it makes that task more of a time sink than any other.
Mawile hatches will continue until morale improves.

There is something seriously wrong with these events. I span probably 500+ pokestops last week and didn’t get a single event themed Win a Raid research for the background shiny Psyduck. It’s either bait and switch or a tech issue.
literally bro 10km eggs are usually so hard to get for me. but now that there’s event themed eggs it wants to give me 7-8 10kms in a row 🤦♂️ and no themed eggs

i think you have to have 4 or more spaces to get them…..if it’s less than that they don’t give them to you. It’s to get you to use/get more incubators.

Mine is completely full as well and I just said the same thing to my husband earlier. I guess I’m not going to get the new release. I’m not paying money, especially when they don’t even offer a discount box for hatchers when they do these events. They remove them right before.

It’s just bad luck. I’ve had about two-thirds 5km eggs since the event started (the rest were mostly 10, with one 2).
Which are the event eggs, the 5km ones? Haven’t got any of those so far, just 2km and 10km. Even if I got a 5km, I bet I’d hatch a damn Chingling instead of Indeedee, but at least I don’t care too much about Indeedee in the first place.
If you hatch eggs the easy way, it goes way faster with the half distance or whatever but even after about 20 5km eggs, I have about seven Indeedee (no shiny ones). I’ve went through countless 10km and 2km eggs though.

Agreed. What’s the point of having event eggs if you can’t get them. It just makes me not want to try. Which is sad because the 5km pool is actually decent for shinies.
Adding onto this, the grunts spawning rare collection challenge Pokemon either need the specific Pokemon rate boosted or the specific grunt spawn rate boosted. Looking at you Deino.

Amen brother 😅 I am right at the border weather to stop playing and wait for legends za or just casually play to catch something if there is anything good on the wild ( since they don’t tell us anymore about what would be out there ). A lot of money invested in pokemon go but is not being fun anymore. Maybe some pvp here and there but no more poke coins for incubators or raid passes no more.
i think because i started clearing 5kms with free incubator & 10kms with paid (old ones/dont normally hatch non stop randomly) when event started. also have the hatch bonus stardusts so im getting 2kms.
used to hold the 10kms then mass hatch with starpiece but stopped for a long time (years) + just return to game 2.5 wks ago.
but this the thing.. so long you wait & no fomo.. everything will come eventually is how games like pokemon go does it.. haha thats what my fren who babysat my acc these years told me. which is pretty much true. sit and wait.

I stopped caring after getting three purples in a row LOL I’m sure they’ll adjust it soon hopefully they usually do at the end of event.. I just incubate a purple and don’t open the tab
If they kept it normal, you wouldn’t buy Incubators to get rid of all the 10km eggs

Our scopely over lords do it so the whales buy more incubators and it incentivizes ticket purchases more. Lets see whats in the ticket that is egg specific…actually I don’t see anything on the psychic ticket for an egg hatching advantages 😅
All those 10km eggs you picked up during this event? Strange as I’ve had at least 3/4 eggs be 5km ones.
When there’s hatching tasks I keep receiving 10km eggs, when there’s distance reduction and a pokemon feature I just get 2km eggs. My luck 😅
At least the half distance hatch helps, I think I am about ~25% chance of getting the event themed 5km. Glad I get a bunch of 2km, so at least I can get through them quick.

I’ve collected data that almost proves that if you have 1+ 10k eggs you’re more likely to get more 10K eggs in your inventory. The best way to not get them is to clear them all out then spin again.
It was pretty funny when the 2k egg event was happening, and the game kept offering more 10k eggs in that trying time.
