Alot of the "mega dragonite 'redesigns' " just slap blue over the original design, and everyone just praises them endlessly. When i was making this, i realised it would work alot better as a mega dragonite x, because instead of leaning into what alot of people want dragonite(and mega dragonite) to look like,it actively Subverts it.
As for lore, this is a Dragon/phychic type. its ability turns any flying move phychic and doubles the STAB
The 3 wings all have diffrent uses. the pair around his body are a protective armor that can be used as wings if dragonites other wings get clipped. the second pair are just normal, large wings. the pair on his head help keep him steady if the second pair arent doing so well, and when mega dragonite uses all 3 wings, he can go so fast he can create sonic booms.
as for the shards around his tail, when a dragonite transforms into a mega dragonite x, the orb forming on its tail shatters and circles its tail. when dragonite uses a flying move, the shards turn purple and power the move further.
Finally, the horn. the mega energy formed a crystal around the horn, enlarging it and giving a powerful magic coat. it also turns purple when mega dragonite uses a flying move.
How do you feel about this as a mega dragonite x design, AND as a design compared to normal mega dragonite? (my first time making a fakemon btw)
