I really don't even know. I like pvp and competition but this games pvp is… whack asf. The matchmaking is atrocious EOMM rigged BS lol.. I guess it's just because I like pokemon in general.

there are so many degrees of rarity, every encounter feels like gambling, where it could be shiny or hundo.

Pokémon’s fun. I play to get stronger Pokémon I’ve missed out on. I like helping other people in raids too and I want to be the big guy anyone can get help from.
For me it's about the polemon. If I buy a Pokemon game, all I can really do is fill half the pokedex. But if I play pokemon go, then I can get (almost) every pokemon. If I'm playing Pokemon Scarlet and want a Dragapult, all I have to do is transfer it over. Plus shiny rates are way better in pokemon go than anything in a mainline game. The only reason I still play is because I have the ability to transfer some of my favorite pokemon into games where they are uncatchable.
They stole the enjoyment from me. Not my game anymore. Glad people can still enjoy it tho 🙏🏼

Totally have a 15-15-12 shadow Granbull maxed out and best buddied . I only have one shadow Gardevoir maxed, so I get to use it often enough. I only have 196 when I typed in "candyxl," and 143 maxed to 50. Your collection is awesome!! Thanks for sharing! I used to be about soloing/duoing raids, but it's shifted more toward the people in the past year or so.

loved this video, i too am a day 1 and have same play style as you. – i have a suggestion. this is the way i keep track of my own pokemon that ive invested in. i make a lvl 50 tag and tag all of my lvl 50 mons and then i also do it for pokemon that are lvl 40+ so i have 2 tags. one saying lvl 50 for all the pokemon i maxed out and a 40+ tag for all the pokemon that is lvl 40+ that im keeping. this way its so easy to keep track of ones collection. personally i have 172 lvl 50 and 87 lvl 40+ pokemon collected and still going ^^ and also 84 pokemon for great league – 41 pokemon for ultra league and im proud of it 😎 also have 6, 100% shadow and 10 shundo's, sorry for saying it here but just wanted to share my proud account stats 😇🙏
im trying to get them all i focus on sets and evolutions dont go shiny hinting but find several when i do commdays or spotlights

I play pokemon go because I started playing in 2022 I wanted to keep playing until I have most of my favorite pokemon as Hundo's and I still am missing a shundo
After 7 years of playing, i finally got my first shundo (it has a background too), so i think this is why i still play.
Reaching 1 billion xp is my motivation
This is the only game that I'm really good at or have invested in. I Have all or can make all good pvp and pve mons if needed. Im just stacking dust and xl.

Collecting cool and rare pokemon. It can be very fun and I don't stress myself to play and (especially when there's big events) I have a lot of fun
i just came back to the game to try and hit level 50 before they take away the jacket. I can only play Tuesday and Wednesday which is perfe! It’s insane how easy it is to get xp now. Currently working on the 999 excellent throws but I hat I love the most is powering up shadow Pokémon! I like to stay around 25 million dust so if I go below that i start saving up again.
I really only care about getting and leveling up Shiny dynamax or Gmax Pokemon nowadays, I’ve got plenty enough leveled up Pokemon for normal raids but those gmax and legendary dynamax battles can be tough if your team isn’t strong enough, and feels good when you’re the last surviving trainer and you get the win for everyone
