Every time I see the Switch 2 version of this game I briefly get interested before remembering there is no cross-platform saving. That’s literally the main reason I haven’t bought the game on Switch 2. I don’t want to start again in ranked progress or redo world tour.

It’s a trap. They lure you in with the low price but it’s for base game only. Year 1 and 2 DLCs will cost $30 each which means the whole package is even more expensive.

I own this on Xbox Series X and PC as well but prefer the Switch 2 version overall. It’s a fantastic port that just feels amazing with the Switch 2 pro controller, even though I get absolutely decimated online.

Anyone on the fence should try the demo For first timers I defo recommend using modern controls which allows for easy super moves so instead of focusing on execution you focus on strategy. It’s been the game changer for me as i never used to play fighting games online but i do play sf6.
Sf6 is an incredible game and a must try for anyone. I can’t recommend it enough.

I was trying to decide how important DLC is, looks like Akuma comes with Y1 Pass, M Bison comes with Y2 Pass (plus Terry Bogard & Mai from King of Fighters are nice bonuses), & Y3 Pass will come with Sagat.
The DLC also comes with other characters & stages of course but these characters alone seem pretty significant to the history of the series so I’ll be waiting for a combo deal with the DLC.
