Among the champion teams, do you think any have more “personality” than the others?

I'm not talking about how good the teams actually are, but how they're thematically formed. Personally, I think the Alola Champion team is pretty weak, especially since it has three Pokémon from other regions, one regional variant, and only two regionally exclusive Pokémon. And maybe it's just my ignorance, but I genuinely don't understand the theme of Kukui's team.
