Just wanted to share a feel good story. My son who can be quite introverted recently started a Mew collection. Ancient Mew was the one card he really wanted more than any other. He didn’t have the money to buy it, so a friend suggested a trade-up challenge. He started out about a month ago with 5 cards to trade worth about $15. 3 card shows and about 20 trades later, he finally got it. Some vendors are not interested in doing trade-ups and that’s perfectly OK. But a big shout out to all the vendors that helped him out along the way. You’re awesome! You’ve helped him come out of his comfort zone and encouraged him to keep going. I’ll never forget the huge smile on his face when the last vendor reached for that Ancient Mew to hand it over to him. This is what the hobby is all about.
