I was looking forward to the XP requirements being so ridiculous I'd give up the game, but 200M total for level 80 isn't the far out of reach for me.

People wayyyy too worried about leveling your avatar 😂😂 I see so many level 50 people for example with weak af Pokemon. Like get your priorities straight. Being high level means nothing in this game, it’s about what Pokemon you have. Most of you can’t even level 50 one Pokemon 😂😂
they haven't said if they will add more storage space for you to PURCHASE, but even if you have maxed out your storages, those freebies will come on top of that.
so i mean that the current maximum pokemon storage id 10500, if you have that, you will still get the free slots on top.
but lets say that you were a free to play player and your current pokemon storage is 2000. now if you suddenly went wild after getting that free storage on top of your old 2000.
would you be able to buy your way up to that new absolute maximum of 10650 or would you be capped at the current maximum of 10500.
or will they bring out new set of 500 slots for both spaces?
BUT!!! even if you have your spaces at the current mnaximums, you will not miss out on these freebies. those at least will be given to you on the top anyway.
that weekly challenge issue was only affecting users in iOS, so Android users were not affected by it.
Man! can you imagine being like 700k short from lvl50 and this random new feature has now locked your game up until they release a fix for it.

I currently have 617,150,232 Million XP. I just for fun been out every day like always walking and playing Pokémon Go since few days after Pokémon Go was released on July 06, 2016. I am currently on step 49 of 50 of the XP Celebration Time Research. The Level 71 through 80 Requirements are just to easy for me to complete. I am a hardcore Pokémon Go Trainer. I will be to level 80 in a short period of time.
So do both trainers have to be level 70 or do just one of them have to be level 70 to get the increased chance of lucky friends?

Low IQ players don't like change. I'm going to fail in getting to lvl 45 by about 10 grunt leaders because I won't spend money on rocket radars. Big woop. I'll get a chance to do it down the road – and, would it be nice not to have to redo them all when I'm lvl 79? YES, but consider all the freebees that are going to come with this. It makes no sense to hate, imo _ ESPECIALLY if you are already lvl 50… You got everything, and now you get more.
pvp just wins you just tank by losing then get easy wins not needing rank 10 like the old level 50 req so even easier.
the XP from 1-70 fits an exponential curve.
the XP from 70-80 is linear.
by extrapolating that, if they don't change the formula (which they probably will) the XP required at level 100 would be 438,353,000 XP.

I kind of curious is it total xp earned or exp u have in reserve cause if it total exp I will 4 shore be at lvl 70 if it total reserve I'll be around high 50s.🤔🤔

Agreed, 999 excellent in a rrow is not possible. I consider myself on par with the best in the world at excellents, but any more than 50 would be impossible, and that would be a stretch, separating the top .01% of players from the rest.

So the XP levels are the total XP you have? I’ve seen some people saying that you add the XP up so lvl 80 would be over 300M to get to. ( Hope I made sense 💀 )
Yeah i gave up on the grind. I was never going to make it. Im only 5 mill into lvl 49. It was hard to do all those lucky trades.

When they actually fixing these avatars, so we can actually wear these jackets and it won’t look ridiculous. The level 50 jacket is unwearable with the current avatar body scaling is that going to be the same for the level 80 jacket? I really hope they actually fix this issue like they said they would a year ago.

Pokémon fumbled it when there weren’t tasks for each level from 40 to 70.. No one cares about leveling up fast when it’s literally just a matter of playing the game 😅 Sure level 70 to 80 is going to be a hard grind but why water it down from 40-70 😅 The longevity of the game just got shot.. 😢

Wow, and I just got into GO 2 months ago and was stuck at 43 for the longest, plus I stopped playing seriously at 40 in late 2020. I'm at 73 mil+ exp overcap on lvl 43, and 112 mil total, I couldn't progress because it require pvp and since I dont do pvp I was stuck for a very long time. With the requirements remove I'll be at lvl 70. 😅
