Up until some days ago, Daily Incense spawns caught with autocatchers didn’t count towards Special Research completion. Over the course of the last few days, I noticed catches were going up, despite me still using a Go Plus +.
So, after only 3 years since this feature was launched, this bug has been fixed.
Source: I never catch Daily Incense spawns by hand (or any other spawn in general) because I don’t care much about this game, though I want to make my friends cry so I still open it all day long with my trusted Go Plus + continuously connected. It catches rare things, I own them, my friends cry. Simple and hassle-free.
