Having originally been sucked into Pokemon as a child with Pokemon Blue version, I really wanted to create some sets for the Kanto region, so I started with the gym leaders. I really like the look of having them slabbed but in a way that retained a sense of individuality of each gym leader. So I made custom slab labels with sprites of each character to tie the theme back to the video games a bit. I really love the artwork for these classic cards, it’s iconic.
Next up will be my “Kanto Team” which will include my team of 6 Pokemon that I would take to challenge the Elite Four. Let me know what you think.
