It seems as if they’re doing this because for whatever reason they don’t want to establish whether Horizons takes place in the same universe as Ash’s journey or not. So they don’t show any of the characters that have been seen in the previous series.
But this just seems super blatant and forced, i wonder how much longer they’ll keep it forced
