Everyone shouldnt be surprised, this isnt the first time they messed up a launch
1PM PDT… on the 15th, that’s so late into the day it would already be the 16th in New Zealand and I woke up at 8AM GMT under the anticipation it would be released at 12AM PDT… Nope.
There was never a time confirmed but only on the day from a support request did Niantic confirm it would be at 1PM PDT…
At 1 PM PDT for the level 80 will be release!

The problem is there is one more time zone after Pacific standard time, Hawaii is the last time zone. Hawaii is three hours after us in PST.

im so happy i was in the rainforest in Panama and was always going to miss launch time. Steping out from the village and back to cell signal to see the update live was a great wasy to end a fantastic day.
Sucks for everyone in the eearly zones expecting one thing and making arrangements to suit and then getting caught in typical pokemon go shennanigans.

The announcement said "October 15 PDT," like someone didn't realize that they still need to type an actual time before PDT. 🤣 I'm just going to enjoy the ridiculousness so I'm not tempted to be sad or cranky.

Don’t care how petty this sounds but I’m hearing mewtwo is now level 80… so let me get this straight everyone who is want 50 now have to suffer 20 more levels for him and everyone who has him gets him again? Why did I not get my mewtwo when I’m level 60?? Probably gonna quit this is freaking horrible
