Is it just me or the shiny odds it’s just a myth

I did 20 remote raids, 4 Rayquaza fled and 0 shiny what is that odd. People said the shiny chance is boosted to 1/10 but I got none not even a hundo. And for catching Rayquaza, 8 excellent throw out of 9 pokeballs they still fled. Am I really that unlucky or just boosted shiny odds doesn't work on remote raids
