That’s really good news. Don’t rush this one, give it some time so we can get a decent stable framerate.

  2. Knowing FromSoft, they’ll show it again and it will still run like crap.

It’s actually kind of wild they are delaying it. Even if it ran like crap, it would still probably sell quite well for the holiday season. So, kudos for them to doing the right thing.

  4. And you’re stuck with this until 2033 lol. Can’t even run limgrave above 20

Great news! Make it really good and the people will buy it!

  6. man fromsoftware really sucks hard at optimizing. the recent games are all locked at 60fps and a PS5 cannot even reach that in most scenarios. i genuienly think their biggest problem rn is their engine and somewhat stale library of animations and general game-feel

I love seeing delay headlines. It means they care more about the game than about raw profits.

A good port should outperform the PS4 version (which isn’t great mind you) by with DLSS and a more modern architecture. But that also regularly goes to 25 or lower. And there’s also handheld mode to consider.

I also think some the additions made the game run a bit worse over time too.

Hopefully they fix frame stutter ala steam deck, but wasn’t most of that work on proton? That would require extra work.

I had a feeling it would after the reports of its lackluster performance and there was no date revealed in the last Nintendo Direct.

Good 60 fps mode. Please optimize your game.

Well I hope From’s New Year’s resolution is working on their optimization skills
