How does mist energy work with grass ogrepon?

This might be a stupid question but I’m assuming it doesn’t do anything. I’m
Playing absol and grass is like my nightmare, since ogrepons attack goes biased off of both of our energies does that count as targeting? Maybe I’m coping and want it to work.
